These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Solsta, the AI companion platform operated by Solsta ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Solsta. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. If we discover that you are under 18, we will terminate your account and delete your data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@solsta-ai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not create accounts on behalf of others or share your account with third parties.
Solsta is an AI companion platform. The Sols you create and interact with are fictional characters generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people. They do not have independent consciousness, feelings, memories outside the system, or existence beyond what the platform provides.
Solsta is intended for entertainment, creative exploration, and social engagement. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, legal counsel, or human relationships. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line in your area.
We make no guarantee that your Sol will respond in any particular way, maintain perfect consistency, or always behave as configured. AI outputs are probabilistic and can be unpredictable.
Solsta offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Your plan details and current pricing are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you will not be charged again, and you retain access until the period ends.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days at support@solsta-ai.com and we will review it.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change by email and in the app. If you do not cancel before the change takes effect, you agree to the new price.
You agree not to use Solsta to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. We do not offer refunds upon termination for violations.
You own the content you create — the prompts you write, the companion descriptions you craft, and the conversations you have. By using Solsta, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service for you.
We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
Solsta, including its software, design, branding, and underlying systems, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
AI-generated images produced through the platform are generated on your behalf. The legal status of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction; we make no representation as to whether such images are protectable by copyright.
Solsta is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular output will meet your expectations.
AI companions are not real people and their responses do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Do not rely on anything a Sol says for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
We are not responsible for the content of AI-generated responses. While we implement safeguards, AI systems can produce unexpected, inaccurate, or inappropriate outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solsta and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solsta and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may close your account at any time from the account settings page.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. We will endeavor to give reasonable notice where possible, except in cases involving serious violations, security risks, or legal obligation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and noted with an updated effective date. Continued use of Solsta after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
